Armed Forces Week celebrations begin on Monday 24th June 2024 when the Armed Forces Day flag is traditionally raised on buildings and famous landmarks around the country.
Reserves Day – Wednesday 26th June 2024
Reservists give up their spare time to serve in the Reserve Forces, balancing their civilian life with a military career to ensure that should their country require them, they would be ready to serve as part of the regular military.
Fighting With Pride- Market Place and Networking Event -Wednesday 26th June 2024
George Eliot Hospital are hosting an event for professionals, on behalf of the Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Board. Attendees will consider: 'How can we be an inclusive employer and support our veterans and local community?'
Armed Forces Day- Saturday 29th June 2024
The whole community is invited from 11am to 3pm to an Armed Forces Day Community Event in St Nicholas Park, Warwick. More information Healthwatch Warwickshire staff will be available to hear about your experiences of health and social care in Warwickshire. We can offer information and signposting to other organisations for support.
