The National Association of Patient Participation (NAPP) set up Patient Participation Group (PPG) Awareness Week (31 May - 06 June 2020) to promote:

  • The role and benefits of PPGs to patients, the public and health professionals
  • To create more understanding of the value of true patient participation
  • To promote the support available from NAPP

So what are PPGs?

All GP Practices must have a PPG to help their practice reflect on what they do, how they work and how they might become more effective. They are made up of volunteer patients that aim to represent your voice and the services provided by the practice are responsive to patient’s needs. You can read more about PPGs here.

Talk to us about PPGs

We are interested in how we support and work together with PPGs in Warwickshire to help strengthen the patient voice at this level. For instance, we have previously held, and continue to hold, our standing conference for patient voice.

Are you a member of your PPG? Have you used your PPG to feedback to your Practice? We are asking for you to get in touch to let us know how PPGs are working for you - both during the current pandemic but also more generally.
