Leamington and Warwick Dental Engagement

National data from NHS England Midlands has shown a high level of dental decay in children living in certain areas of Warwick District. During May and June 2024 we will be engaging with parents to investigate why this is.

We are running a survey to provide an opportunity to share your experience of children’s dental health and care. We would like to know if your dental needs are being met. We will flag any challenges or concerns with NHS England Midlands and the commissioners of dental services. This will support the development of local dental services and oral health promotion activities.

We are particularly interested in hearing from families living in Brunswick, Claredon and Willes areas of Leamington Spa, Whitnash and Aylesford, Heathcote, Myton and Saltisford areas of Warwick.

Unfortunately our survey is now closed and we will upload the findings soon.

Providing Menopause Information and Support to Men

Action Menopause Warwickshire and Healthwatch Warwickshire are working together to enable men to support the women in their lives who are experiencing a difficult perimenopause or menopause.

As a first step, we would like to ask women what support they would like from the men in their lives, their husbands, partners, friends, brothers, adult sons, employers or work colleagues.

The responses we receive will help us to plan a focus group for men, being held on 12th September 7-9pm, so we can gather views on the issues. We want to find out what men would like to know in order to support the women in their lives and what support men need for themselves.
