Report: GP Websites Mystery Shop (Warwickshire North and Rugby)
What we did
Our Mystery Shopping Group visited 34 GP websites across Warwickshire North and Rugby. We wanted to see what type of experience patients might have when trying to find information online.
What we found out
Through all our website visits, we identified which elements lead to a good user experience. We have included these in our report, as suggestions of good practice that GPs and Medical Centres could adopt to improve the experience of their patients when using their website.
We would encourage people to visit their own GP website and become familiar with its layout and content. Members of our Mystery Shopping Group agreed that it could be too overwhelming to visit the website for the first time, when you were ill or needing to find information in a hurry.
